If your site are in yahoo directory the search results will not display your yahoo directory title & description.

there is a lot of site owner that are looking for a way to optimize sites for google & yahoo together.

well you can’t ! – not the way you think any way :-) .

to get a good search result at google you will mostly need to get authority links and not a just related links (not any more).

google are looking for low keyword density buy yahoo are looking for hi keyword density, so you cant make them both at the same time.

most sites are optimized there sites for google because google are the top search engine this days with something like %80 of search engines traffic, so they will need a low keyword density (that are not good for yahoo).

so what can we do to score hi in yahoo search results ?

the answer are “Site Wide Links”

site wide links can get your site in the top yahoo results, but please not that site wide links are not so good for google so you will also need to no over do this because google can demote you site because of this.

you should try to balance anything regards seo and over do anyting and you will be fine in all the top search engine.
