So it looks like Phoenixes do beat Vikings in equal numbers. Good to know. Up until now I thought Phoenixes were pretty weaksauce.

Phoenixes saves me against an army of 20 mutas, so they are very useful unlike there starcraft 1 unit the Scout.

Terran gave up rather easily. Marines would have countered the phoenix. and he had 3 bases up, but I guess he could smell the mothership coming out.
